- Do I need a reservation at Headless Widow?
- Reservations are recommended for tables, especially Thursday through Saturday. Walk-ins are welcome at the bar whenever there's room. Write to reservations@headlesswidow.com to book.
- What are your opening hours?
- We're closed Mondays. Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday 4pm–1am, Thursday and Friday 5pm–2am, and Saturday 4pm–2am. Happy hour runs until 7pm, Tuesday through Sunday.
- Where is the bar located?
- 99 1st Avenue, New York, NY 10003, in the East Village.
- Is there a dress code?
- No formal dress code. The room is dark and quiet, so we simply ask that you keep phones down and voices low.
- Can you host private parties or large groups?
- The room holds thirty, so we take a limited number of private buyouts and groups of six or more by arrangement. Email reservations@headlesswidow.com with your date and headcount.
- Is there a happy hour?
- Yes — happy hour runs until 7pm, Tuesday through Sunday.
- Do you serve food?
- Yes. A small kitchen menu runs alongside the drinks: oysters, Peruvian ceviche, fried calamari, brisket sliders and fries, and a classic New York pretzel.
